The All New Keurig 2.0- review - say #hellokeurig to organic coffees!

I was so happy to get the email saying that I was selected to test the new Keurig 2.0 coffeemaker! Not only was I already a Keurig user BUT my husband has a new addiction to coffee so this was perfect timing.

This 2.0 has TONS of features but If I had to pick something about this new Keurig that is my favorite...I would definitely say that it is the coffee pot and the ability to brew more than 1 cup at a time. The biggest use of our old keurig came when we had friends or family over...I would sit at that stupid machine (used to love it but I have now moved on to the 2.0) and make cup after cup after cup. Now, I simply slide the carafe in and hit start. It will brew enough for about 3-4 people depending on the mug size! The pot also stays for warm so it is easy to brew and let sit for a few while serving desserts,...or making your way through a Monday morning.

I also am pretty passionate about living as organically as possible...and while there aren't too many 2.0 organic cup varieties yet...all you have to do is grab one of the reusable Cups and fill it with your favorite organic variety.

Here is the ONLY downside to my new 2.0 it is ONLY compatible with cups and packs bearing the "Keurig label"...so...if you have some off-brand ones that you want to use up, you will HAVE to get the reusable cartridge.

Back to some features....you can set the strength of your brew, you can program it to start in the morning, customizable wallpapers, it lights up, can be used as a nightlight, and the darn thing even switched its time by itself.

So, honestly, it's an amazing piece of equipment that has made things so much easier around my home.. especially when brewing things like apple cider that the kids absolutely love... hello carafe!
